In canada workers have a number of rights to protect them however why to managers not have rights to be?
defended eg being slandered by staff. Or is this a firm by firm issue?
Update:
My impression is that staff are permitted to go up the food chain and slander managers with impunity but if a manger des that look out.

managers have bosses too who get them in line. just like the manager does to the employees.
