Where to apply for this health card?

That article it is talking about Cabinet decree which applies to whole country thru Ministry of Health (MOH) not local Dubai DHA , as such those cards will be issued by MOH hospitals. In Dubai there is only Al Baraha hospital that is run by MOH , the one opposite side to Dubai hospital in Deira. I don't think they will have an employer assisted application knowing how much red tape is still there in MOH ... but it doesn't hurt to ask.

But I heard something before that later on EID card would be used also in lieu of needing a health card (in the future) but I don't know when or how is that going to work. I guess they make more money from separate fees for separate cards though ;)

on average 200 to 300 each , how much is that per year or 2.

Please note that this may take some times before they start accepting applications , so give it a few months as always there will be crowds & glitches when they start any new registration until the newspapers stop talking about it and people forget , so do it later better.

Another thing I noticed this article says "These fees will be doubled for those who do not hold ministry-issued health cards." , this part implies it will also apply to DHA & HAAD applicants who do not have a MOH card already. (correct me H ? but it does state issuing is 500 at MOH , so the doubled fee is for whom then? )

Also when not being so familiar with Sharjah, I would try to apply for a health card in one of the registration centres like mentioned here: http://www.moh.gov.ae/en/News/Pages/New-Health-Reg...

For my knowledge the mandatory provided healthcare to employees applies to Government employess (nationals and residents) in Sharjah only.

In case healthcare would be mandatory, the employer would have to apply for a group insurance at one of the healthcare providers and employees and depends then would receive their cards through the insurance company (like in Abu Dhabi).

My visa in Dubai is it possible my wife can apply Sharjah health card? We are living in sharjah

I am in uae within 15 days & i have also not received health card, one my friend told me its company lookout so Just ask to company hr & administrative department.
