1995-98 Ford Ranger as first car?
Back when I was younger, my family had 2 ford ranger pickups. And I thought they were great. I want to buy one for my first car Perferibly between the years of 95-98. Would it be good? They last a while don't they?

Yes. The four cylinder, while slow, is the only Ranger engine that gets consistently good MPGs. Manual or auto trans? They both have their issues.
Get an F150 with a v6 if a v6 model Ranger crosses your mind. My v6 Ranger gets better MPGs than pretty much anyone I have every talked to with a v6 ranger.
