How long do you think I have to pay my tuition for this semester?

The website says that tuition is due (for fall semester) "in early August." You would think they'd be more specific about things that cost $25,000 right? Anyhow, the vast majority of it got paid in scholarships and what have you, and since I didn't know when the due date was, I have been charged a $50 late fee (which I'm okay with) and am waiting for a student loan to go through. Classes start the first week of September, how long do you think I have to pay the tuition before they give me the boot?

We don't know what your school's policies are

since you noticed it said "early August" but didn't have a date... wouldn't it have made sense to call them & ask about the date & also ask when it absolutely has to be paid before you getting dropped (or withdrawn) from classes

I know one school in our area that will give you until the end of the first week to have payment in full & will withdraw you (you will owe the school money because they have to send fin aid back to source when withdrawn)

I know another school in our area that requires payment in full a week before classes start & will drop you from classes rather than risk withdrawal

there is a third school that will allow up to 50% of tuition to be set up on payment plan, but only if you sign the payment plan contract before the start of classes

you won't know how your school handles these things if you don't talk with them

They won't boot you for awhile, maybe a couple of months. I even know some that can get away for a couple of years. But thats the time when they go to collections and that's no fun. They will just keep charging you a late fee for awhile.

You'll have until the end of the first week of classes to pay in full.

How about you ask the school before you're dropped from all your classes?
