Nope but they do it anyway. I never granted them permission nor did I grant my elected representatives permission to make that decision for me.

I really believe that NSA doesn't care at all about your online activities or your telephone conversations or even who you called. They jut want to permanently warehouse everything. If you should ever come politically active though, they need the ability to retrieve all of that data and analyze it. They can elect then to leak it or hold it, depending on if you are a right thinker.

As long as they have reasoning to belive you might be a terrorist. The constitutions prohibits unreasonable searched and seizures. They also have to file for a warrant.
