    Using google.com is a "really bad idea" if you're looking for things WITHOUT copyright. You have to be extremely careful to follow up with the copyright owners for each and every image. The fact that they are "there" does not give you or anyone else any particular right to "use" them.

    This leaves you with several options:

    1. find photos from a non-copyrighted source, such as those created by the US government;

    2. obtain a license from the copyright owners to use copyrighted images;

    3. obtain the necessary clearance by researching and proving that copyright has expired;

    4. use the photos under a statutory exemption (e.g., educational use in a classroom, "fair use", etc).

    Other than that, simply using other peoples' works is completely illegal and you can be sued, depending upon what you're using them for; something you did not share with us.
