What to wear to a pet store interview?
I have a job interview today at Kahoots Pet Store at 3:30 PM. I have black slacks and a white/black button up shirt with white shoes or jeans with a dark grey/white plaid button up shirt with the white shoes? Casual jeans w/shirt or business slacks w/shirt? Thanks for all answers.

rule of thumb for dressing for an interview
dress one step up from what you'd be expected to wear on the job
if its jeans and tshirt.. then wear jeans and nice shirt, or khakis and nice shirt
if its a khakis and polo shirt.. then wear the slacks and nice shirt.

Casual dress and no white shoes in a pet store ok. The rest sounds great. White shoes in a pet store. I would not do that. If they have dogs and such and those white shoes get whatever on them. Will you be cleaning cages or anything. Will you handle the pets. Now days usually there is a designated person who takes care of the feeding and cleaning cages. Just checking in here with you. Depends upon your job. Most of the pet stores I have been in the people are and were wearing casual clothing.

Dress up and not down for job interviews. Go for the slacks ans button down shirt. Don't wear jeans to a job interview.
