Should I just let him go and move on or try to figure things out?

So, I've been talking to this guy for about 4 months now. I started talking to him on Facebook after, I saw him at a basketball game. I couldn't see him over the summer, because we both went on vacation opposite times. I went in the middle and he went towards the end. He lives in another town and goes to another school that's 7 miles away. I just started liking him maybe 2 months ago. Last weekend he told me he liked me, but we live so far apart. We live 20 minutes apart, but neither of us can drive or have transportation. He said he likes me a lot but he wouldn't be able to go out with me because he wouldn't be able to stand not seeing me everyday and he really wants to be with me but there isn't much of a way for that to happen. Plus his mom doesn't like most of his girlfriends so she wouldn't drive him. I really really like him maybe even more than that but there isn't anything we can do. I feel awkward talking to him now, because it's just like well were out the friendzone but not in a relationship or even flirtationship so what are we? I feel like just stop talking to him altogether, I like him too much to just be friends again. Then, I just start high school and there's this other guy. His in 10th grade and I just met him last week. His friends say he like me and keeps asking about me. His a little on the nerdy side which is my type ^_^. So, should I move on and talk to other guys or figure out where our relationship is going to go and what we're gonna do or start exploring my options?

P.S they're both in 10th grade
