Will the "real" pagans in England put up with this?

It is bad enough that the Churches stole most of the pagan customs and dressed them up as "Christian", but now they are staging a direct effort to pull those faithful "pagans" into their grasps!!

Sure has been a lot of religious news today. I rarely have so much fun! And thanks to my Brother Lone for sharing this with me!

Update:

I will have to agree with the comments that I don't understand "what" they are going to do.

Considering that the core teachings of the church is illogical and unscriptural, I guess those of us who are confused are in the condition they want us to be.

I am going put this one up to vote, and let you decide which was the best answer.

Hard to distinguish the churches from the pagans any more. Just about everything associated with them is pagan. It all started with the Trinity and went downhill from there. I'm just glad I learned the truth about all the false teachings of the church before it was too late.

I don't understand most of it, but training people to receive pagan customs into christianity is nothing new. Imagine all the gay weddings we can attend at the new churches,

This is no different than Jews for Jesus or the Messianic Muslim movement - it's a dishonest way of getting people to accept Christian beliefs by twisting their faiths to fit the Christian paradigm to lead people away from those faiths without going through any conversion process. They even have different terms for baptism to make it more palatable to non-Christians.

I don't really mind Christians telling other people about their faith or trying to spread the gospel but if you have to be dishonest about it there's something really sleazy about that - people have the right to know what they're getting into when they join one of these movements.

They can try all they want.

We chose this religion for a reason.

Some of us are not very happy about it, I'll say that.
