A cylinder specific misfire may be caused by:

    Faulty spark plug or wire

    Faulty coil

    Faulty oxygen sensor

    Faulty fuel injector

    Burned exhaust valve

    Faulty catalytic converter

    Running out of fuel

    Poor compression

    Defective computer

A misfire can be fuel related. Check for a vacuum leak to start with, then try fuel injector cleaner

HELLO! The 2.7 was a VERY TROUBLED ENGINE and is NOW not made any more! it was VULNERABLE to ENGINE SLUDGE and the use of VALVOLINE and other WAX BASED Oils. THese CHEAP OILS will KILL IT! Take $20-30 to ANY OIL CHANGE center and have your THROTTLE BODY and IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE cleaned up to showroom CLEAN! the final AIR/FUEL mixture is fine tuned and adjusted by a CLEAN IAC valve! A DIRTY ONE will get you a clogged up CONVERTER and TRASHED OUT o2 sensors! <<UNFORTUNATELY, the junk yards are full of these engines THAT DIED FROM sludging up! They HAVE BINS FULL OF THEM STACKED UP ON top OF EACH OTHER IN michigan, THEIR home state! The CURE for you is a good motor flush WITH EITHER amsoil crankcase cleaner OR A B-G PRODUCT! Get ALL the coke and sludge and bad DEPOSITS removed and then use MOBIL ONE 0W-30 oil coke REMOVED, AND THEN USE mobil one 0w-30 OIL religiously! Make certain that your iac is perfectly clean, and install a set of BOSCH or DENSO iridium plugs! BOSCH FUSION and DENSO TWIN TIP plugs are ALSO EXCELLENT and will PREVENT the formation of ENGINE SLUDGE, the KILLER OF ALL 2.7 liter ENGINES! This is because they burn MORE fuel MORE COMPLETELY! Use ONLY GENUINE CHRYSLER coolant ( which is MITSUBISHI DIAMOND coolant) and POWER WASH your engine bay so it is SHOWROOM CLEAN and the engine metals can BREATH like SKIN DOES! Remove ALL traces of GRUNGE and oily films and fluid leaks to allow the engine to BREATH NATURALLY! A COOL running engine wil dissipate heat more EVENLY and give MORE POWER and better starting and better economy! SEND ME $200 for this advice as you wil save money on GAS almost Instantly with the BOSCH+SCH or DENSO plugs! If I have SAVED YOU from a SLUDGED UP broken engien, THAT IS WORHT TA GOOD THOUSAND! There are NO MORE 2.7 engines left to use that I know of! They BURNED OIL from bad OIL SEALS and bad PISTON RING CHOICES! ASK CHRYLSER or consult with NHTSA! they keep track of OWNER DISSATISFACTION and has POWER over the manufacturers!

Source(s): TRSUT ME! those engines make SLUDGE INSDE very easily and BURN OIL from a BAD DESING with BAD production methods! You are VERY LUCK that yours is STILL RUNNING! Taking MY advice 2il add YEARS to it, if gthe oprignal ALTERATIONS were made at the DEALERSHIP! GOOD LUCK!!

it could be a head gasket blew between 2 cylinder or a valve sticking ! recheck the plug wires to make sure the firing order is right !

Run a compression test on those two the 2.7 has many issues with that engine could be head gasket leaking or intake issues.
