1-year anniversary trip in North Texas?

My husband and I will be celebrating our first year this upcoming December and we are trying to pick a city in North Texas that would be fun to visit for one night/weekend. Any suggestions? If you name something, tell me why we should consider it.

probably fort worth cuz of the fort worth stockyards are real fun to go to and theres alot of lakes you can visit and go boating, fishing etc or you could go to dallas and go to this one restaurant thats a big tall tower and top is a ball shape thats lighted up at night and it spins really slowly.wolfgang puck owns it i dont know whats its called though really its a fancy restaurant so its gonna be expensive so if you dont have more that about $50-$60 to spend i wouldnt go really probably.but out of anywhere you should go in texas is san antonio,i know its not in north texas but its sooo fun! its about 5 hours away from where i live (which is mansfield which is about 30 mins or so southeast of fort worth tx) and ive went 2x with my parents and its really fun.theres so many things you could do there like go to the riverwalk,to the alamo,to the san antonio zoo (which is a great one, if you go there you gotta go see the lory area! theyre kinda like parakeets but eat nectar and berries with a brush tipped tongue and are very pretty! that was the highlight of the visit to san antonio i think!) and theres abunch of nice restuarants you can go to too.theres cheescake factory (which again is pretty expensive so i would make sure you can afford it there before you went!) i hope i helped some! and happy anniversary to you and your husband!! hope you have a great day wherever you decide to go! :-) <3
