What would a Roku box give me that I cannot get with a Wii box?
Wifi/Netflix etc. seem to be on the Wii. What else does Roku have? Any advantages?

The Roku has over 750 channels. 99% percent of them are not available on the Wii, but that does not mean you should get one. Check out the channel list here, http://www.roku.com/channels#!browse/movies-and-tv... and see if something interests you. Since you said the Wii and not Wii U I will assume you are not talking about the newer one. The biggest advantage the Roku has over the Wii is HD support. The primary reason I have never streamed anything on my Wii is the lack of HD support.
