Can I use images that I have transferred from Mac/PC to an iPod touch 4g; for lock screen / background images?

If so, please explain how I transfer the images... Assuming I have pictures that are already taken/saved on a PC or Mac... Or would it be easier to save the images to a Flashdrive from Windows, then transfer using the Mac to the iPod... I would also appreciate a thorough explanation of how to put music files from a Flashdrive (on Mac) to an iPod touch 4g... Thank you all in advance...

I'm using Windows 7. Don't know the Mac equivalent.

Connect your iPod. Go to Computer. There you should see the name of your iPod. I think 2 folders show up. One of them has all of your files. You can copy your images from your computer to that folder.

To put music from a flash drive, all you do is connect the flash drive and iPod, open iTunes and go to File > Add files to library (or something of that nature.) Then you go to wherever your flash drive is located. If it's on your desktop, you navigate to your desktop, click your flash drive, and add the songs you want.

Hopefully that was all clear. :)
