Why do anti-choice christians oppose abortion of an 8 week fetus, yet support death penalty of adults?

They have this illusion of guilt going for them and makes them pretty blood thirsty.

Even though it has been proven that many people who have been executed were innocent.

While doing my dissertation a few years ago, I found ample evidence that brain waves were detected at 6 weeks. As our technology advances, our ability to discern the faintest pulses of life grows stronger.

What about Sandy Hook? Or Anders Brevik? Or that mope who shot up the cinema in Colorado? (Do I need to give more examples?) Certain crimes remove a person's Right to live. The fact that they are cognizant makes the crime more troubling and compels the Justice System to seek the best interest of Society. But carry on putting the individual before the Common Good....

I will make you a one time good deal, but remember that by every relevant area of science the unborn human being is 100% human. Here is the deal, you set aside the brutal torture and murder of the innocent unborn and I will set aside the right of the state to end the lives of brutal murderers. Deal or no deal? perhaps they see the fetus as vulnerable so feel more inclined to protect it , opposed to an adult who has ' sinned' ? What i cannot understand is how Christians oppose abortions to protect the fetus but ignore the issue of real life children dying to poor sanitation or lack of clean water every day , it seems illogical to me.

The baby is innocent. It has no choice.

The adult is guilty. It made the wrong choice.

also, the fetus is guilty of original sin. the worst thing you can do. those are all stupid arguments. separation of church and state religion has no place in our laws. so the southern states need to get it together.

simple ! on the one hand God said that those who kill a baby in the womb shall be put to death.

on the other hand He said if a man kills another, by man such a person must be killed.

there is no dichotomy there. there is no contradiction as well.

Well they need more criminals to satisfy their demand for killing criminals. Kids in poor families are more likely to become criminals...
