My favorite genre is metal. My favorite sub-genres within metal are Progressive Metal, Folk Metal and Melodic Death Metal. My favorite bands include Opeth, Tool, Dream Theater, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Ensiferum, Wintersun, Korpiklaani etc.

My favorite genre would most likely be power metal or thrash metal. My favorite band is a coin's flip between 3 Inches of Blood or Rhapsody of Fire. In light of that my favorite artist in general is either Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth or Greydon Square.
