Looking for a singer NEED A HUGE MUSIC BUFF?

I need some help, I am looking for the name of a singer...She has been around awhile, probably around the same age as Amy Lee. She usually wears red, and has a very strange unique style, think of a gothic Lady GaGa...She has a normal first name I believe...her style I would describe as gothic/soft rock...almost an Amy Lee style. I want to say her name is Sara something, but I'm probably way off she is NOT mainstream as far as I know, but should be well known to those who enjoy the "haunting" style music...I know this is not much but please help me, I am so desperate..it's not for me.
