Why are RB's far more valuable than QB's?
In nearly every mock draft I see, the first 10-15 picks are all RB's. I've been out of fantasy football for 10 years, but I was curious. ESPN's rankings have the 30th best RB (McFadden) ranked ahead of the 10th-12th best QB's (Kaepernick, Romo, and Luck.)
Why do standard league setting favor RB's so heavily?

Because you start 2 of them (or 3 in a FLEX), and there aren't a ton of good ones. QBs you start one, and there are enough good ones to go around.
In a 10 person standard league, everyone will get a Top 10 QB... and if you get "stuck" with the 11th or 12th, it's still Romo or Luck or someone like that.
Do a couple mock drafts. Take a QB first, and then wait on a QB in the 2nd... see which team you like better.

The problem is that the supply at runningback isn't as good as the supply at qb. Once you get past say the first tier or so of runningbacks things get quite ugly fast as now you have some question marks due to injury concerns with certain runningbacks like Demarco Murray, Darren McFadden and say Ryan Matthews and Chris Ivory that a lot of people ttendto want to have at least 2-3 good sure things at runningback before thinking of qb. You see you can wait a little longer for a qb due to the fact that at qb the supply is way better then at rb therefore making the demand for a qb early on not as big of a priority. For instance according to ESPN's standard scoring and their rankings AP is expected to score about 279 or so points this year while say your rb 10 is about 172 or so. A significance right there and then if you wait even longer to get your rb 2 it gets worse as you could be depending on somebody like a Darren McFadden or Demarco Murray who are injury prone if you wait while you could still end up with a qb like Mtt Ryan and matthew Stafford or RG3 or whatnot if you wait a bit longer. Runningbacks can basically make or break your fantasy team!!!

What really has happened is most teams have gone to a multiple back offense...there are very few rbs that get the vast majority of the carries, hence they are more valuable....teams that still use a primary back and have a great one are few and far between....Adrian Peterson, Aryan Foster, and Marshawn Lynch are my top 3....

Because QB is WAY deeper than RB and there aren't many RBs you can count on to give you solid production whereas for QB, there is.
