AM I SHOWING OFF , HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE !?
hi so there is this opportunity to donate can goods to the poor but in exchange you get a free fair ticket, i really dont care about the ticket because i dont really plan on going to the fair but now im starting to feel like im only doing it just for the fair ticket. i don't usually go to these donations because i just donate money online or at tip jars and mosques. I feel like i will be one of those people who are only donating because they want a free fair ticket since this is my first time going to one of these donations and they never seen my face before. help . thank you :)

You're not showing off. Being good to other's is never a bad thing. Look at it this way, you are referring to the fair ticket as being free, but it isn't in reality, due to it's cost being the donation of the can goods. You are actually trading one for the other, while helping other's less fortunate. When people contibute money for a cause, they have the opportunity to write off their contribution on their taxes, thereby obtaining a cash write off but while helping other's at the same time. You're doing a good thing. Don't let compensation's of good deed's keep you from act's of kindness. When people need assistance, it doesn't matter where or how it is received, what matter's is that it is available. People who contribute in any way to those less fortunate should never second guess their act of compassion! Keep up the good work!
