How do you know if you've been in love?

you'll feel butterflies in your tummy.

If you've been in love you will know. You get a feeling like you want to be with this person forever, you can't stand to be apart, you get excited to see the person, you have strong chemistry, etc. but this is just the beginning feelings of love after this love transitions, some feelings will continue and others go dim over time but you always have a remaining feeling and knowledge that you will do anything for this person, etc. you just know it's hard to explain you have to feel it.

the most important thing about love is if you really love someone, freind or family or boyfreind or whatever, then you are happy. you get this feeling where you just feel so utterly HAPPY. theres really no way to describe it other than that! for example ive never been truely in love with a guy, but i love my friends and my family and things like when im playing lacrosse with my team. when i do i feel so complete like i could never be happier. things like that tell me that i am in love. so if anyone has ever made you feel such bliss then you are in love!

I know I haven't... based on how other's decribe it. I have been with many women, on dates, companionship, friends, one night stands, sex for the f*** of it and lots of other stuff. Lotsa good memories and some bad, but LOVE... I doubt it. There has never been regrets on either side, but for my part. Not LOVE.

apparently if you've ever been in love then you will always love that person even if you aren't still in love with that person.
