    last census over 300 million. google census

    people are born, die and come and go.

    world population 6-7 BILLION ( 300 million is 1/3 billion)

    China and India over 1 billion each

    the world did NOT reach 1 billion till late 1800-early 1900 ( I think)

    it CANNOT keep doubling at todays rate. Europe , Russia and USA have leveled and are in decline

    South America, Africa and Asia are increasing.

    birth rate declines as education, income and women's status increases.
