    No, we don't lie to our children. The economy is tanked entirely because of the GOP. Bush created the recession and the GOP is continuing it by refusing to vote on any job creation laws or come up with any job creation ideas on their own.

    But I wouldn't expect an idiot who can't even spell the president's name to understand that.

    If you had the brains to look at the charts, you would see that it dropped a lot under Clinton and didn't start rising until Bush came along to hand money to his rich buddies and screw over the rest of us.

    The huffpost is hardly neutral, since is corporate owned.

    We tell them that because of Bush destroying the economy many people lost their jobs. Instead of letting them starve to death like the Republicans want, the Democrats have to feed them.
