I need help with my computer?

Okay so I have an asus computer. Microsoft windows 8. Recently I haven't been able to save pictures like before. I use the new internet explorer. When I first got the computer I was able to right click and save an image but now every time I try to save an image it says "windows internet explorer: an attempt was made to load a program with out the proper format. I have no idea how to fix the problem. Its really bugging me. So I was looking for some help before I call the tech company to help fix this. An answer that helps resolve the problem completely will be voted best answer and possibly 10 points. Thank you :)
