Fantasy Football help. Jared Cook for Vincent Brown?

I just got offered a trade in which I would be giving up Vincent Brown WR for Jared Cook TE. Do you think it is a good trade for me? Which player do you think will have the more upside this year? I'm in a standard league not ppr. Thanks a lot!!

I honestly need more information. Who is your TE now? What is your roster? Is Vincent Brown your WR3, 4, or 5? How big of an improvement is Jared Cook to your current TE? If Kenbrell Thompkins is still on your waiver I would rather have him then Brown. I do like Brown this year. Before he broke his leg last year SD had high expectations. Rivers has to be better than last year (I would hope at least). Alexander is out for the season and Floyd is injured and been underperforming when able. I think Brown is the SD WR1 this year and breaks the 1000 mark. Cook has been doing alot of work in the preseason camps and is getting stellar reviews from STL staff. That being said Cook has been hyped every year but never lived up to expectations. To give the best info I would need to know more info.

I've got to agree with Reid. Without knowing who your other options are I can't tell you whether it would be good for you--all I can say is that I like Brown better than Cook. If your WR bench is so deep that you'll never start Brown anyway, make the trade. Before you do, take a good look at the TEs on the wire and make sure that you wouldn't prefer to waive Brown and pick up someone undrafted. If you already have a TE, your main focus should be that guy's bye week and the weeks he faces the toughest defenses.
