Yeah, I know that already. It's pretty common knowledge in metal. Rob Halford from Judas Priest is also gay. It doesn't matter to me at all but I think Gaahl is a little nuts considering his record of violence and some interviews he gave.

I don't think anyone would care. Most black metal artists are just normal people making the music they like, and normal people can be gay.

As for the human torture thing, that looks suspiciously like a marketing ploy. Biting off a bat's head had been done, torturing a nun on the rack had been done, spraying the audience with blood had been done, and masturbating in public had been done. What else was left?

I know it and I've seen that interview. I don't think that anyone would have a problem with it since there are many black metal fans that listen to Gorgoroth. And as many people said many black metal musicians are regular people and just because he seems so extreme on stage, it does not mean he is in real life. Anyway, I like this interview more:
