Ps4 question. Do I need to campout ?

I pre ordered the PS4 in June . I pre ordered it at my local Best Buy . The official release date is November 15th . my Best Buy is doing a midnight release . Is it worth going to the midnight release if I pre ordered it ? I am guaranteed the ps4 right? As you may know the ps4 pre orders are sold out everywhere . Does this mean if you didn't pre order it you're out of luck getting it on release day ? Anyways let me know below

From what I understand, best buy was told to take a certain number of preorders, presumably that's how many ps4 it will get at launch. So if best buy did what it was told, anyone that preordered should get one at launch.

But I have a suspicious feeling that best buy took in more preorders than it was told because even last week, you can print out a preorder slip.

Anyway, in the community forum, one of the employee said that each preorder was given a number, and they'll be handed out numerically.

Well you are one lucky bastard! Get it on the midnight release you will be one of the first people to play it. And they might video the midnight release and you might be part of playstation's history. So if i were you i would grab this oppurtunity and go to the midnight launch. Im so disappointed i waited till they announce the release daye. Now i will be able to get mine in 2014. Or that just might be sony's way of us getting to preorder the console. If it is i wont care because sony is awesome!

If you didn't pre-order, your chances of getting one on release day are close to zero.

If you did pre-order, you don't have to camp out if you don't want to since you're still guaranteed your console; you usually have a day or two to pick it up.

Agree with "opurt" 100 percent. It's solid basic advice, he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
