I have a really good video game idea?

Try developing a team. All famous and great video game companies do it that way.

How many people in the world do you think have "REALLY GOOD VIDEO GAME IDEAS"?!?! I'm a game designer and I get ******* pissed when someone "proposes" a video game idea. It's like, If you have such a good idea then ******* DO IT! I started making games when I was 13. I was 13 and I had ideas for video games and I learned all the same GAME DESIGNERS WILL NOT MAKE A GAME FOR YOU! I took classes and taught myself how to program and everything. Then I took my ideas and made them myself like a real game designer. Now I'm an indie developer on the side of me working at another company and I love it. So if you think you aren't good with "Technical stuff" Then get good at it cause thats the only way your game will be made.

All jokes aside, don't waste your time trying to do something you won't be able to accomplish. If you want making games to be your job in life then study the subject and try to apply for it, but don't think creating one is as simple as playing one. It would be like saying "Hey, I got a great idea for a new car model, anyone helping me with it?". Just not possible.
