Because Syria used chemical weapons on its own people and President Obama said that was a red line they should not cross. Now because he said that he can't back out. It's doesn't necessarily mean we will have boots on the ground, the Navy and the Air Force can do plenty with ship-launched missiles and airstrikes.

I think it has to do with the use of chemical weapons. Not sure. The U.S. will not stand by and watch war spread.
Anyway, it is just another excuse for the U.S. to invade without violating any foreign policies. Also, to distract American society from domestic issues. Either way, its best if you do your own research so that you can arrive at your own conclusion.

because it's another good way to avoid fixing the domestic issues.
we've always made excuses with war and foreign relations.. rather than actually do anything about the real problems in the states.
