I'm a senior in HS and am taking Algebra 1 for the 3rd time. Does that make me stupid?

It depends on why you didn't succeed the first two times. Do you have a learning impediment like ADHD or dyslexia? That would explain it fairly quickly. If not, whatever reason it is you're not passing still doesn't make you dumb.

I'm going to be honest with you, because I feel as though you deserve the truth.
Algebra is a REQUIRED High School course, and on top of that it's the fundamentals of the course itself. If you're planning on going to college and taking a college math class, Algebra I and II are both BASIC courses.
Short answer to your question: Yes.
But don't let this get you down, you just have to keep practicing, get help from peers/family/teachers. Ask your counselor for any place you could get tutored.

No it doesn't! Everyone has strengths in different subjects, you may not be strong in math but you're definitely great at something. Just keep your head up high and try you're best! You're capable of anything you put your mind to.

It means u suck at math man. Get your sh*t together and pass it this time. Itl look terrible on college resumes if u haven't atl east passed algebra 3 or pre cal

Well it means your not very good at math. I am in 8th grade and taking Algerbra 1... umm ya just try your hardest this time and pay alot of attention in that class!

Of course it doesn't. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Just because math isn't your strong point doesn't mean you're stupid. Everyone is different.
