Underside of front teeth, sharp shooting pain when eating?

On the underside of my 2 top and 2 bottom front teeth, when I touch the underside of the I get a really sharp shooting pain until I stop touching it. I can't even brush my front teeth in case I touch the underside with my toothbrush I will be in agony. I can't even eat with my front teeth without being in pain. Could somebody please tell me what this is or how can I treat it?

Indicates a problem and it needs a visit to a dentist, an examination and an xray to see what is really going on. Do not leave it in case it is infective in origin.

Usually a shooting pain sensation like that when you chew or bite down on something is a sign of a crack in the tooth. Go to the dentist and get it checked out as soon as you can before it gets any worse.
