No idea. You can bury a human body in your back yard as long as it's not near a water course and you make a note on the deeds of your property, that's about all I know for sure. Hence the age old jokes about how it is legal to bury your granny on the family farm but not a farm animal like a sheep or cow.
I don't see why you could not. After all a lot of the medical skeletons are...ahem...au naturel. However there's also a law that makes it illegal to prevent the legal disposal of a dead body. Guess that means it comes back to whether or not keeping a skeleton as an artifact is "legal disposal" or not. OR if human skeletons have to be past a certain age to be legal, like ivory is only legal to possess if it is antique ivory and not modern ivory.
