Nickels come in rolls, not boxes. Knowing the source of those boxes is important. If they came untouched from the estate of a hoarder, there could be a good chance of finding a Buffalo, or many. If it's a modern hoard, you probably won't find one.

Yes you have a pretty good chance of finding at least one buffalo nickel in 5 boxes. If you don't though don't get discouraged because you will eventually.
