Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn?
I'm literally about to break my PS3 because of this. I bought the game today. I installed it and registered the code on my sqaure enix account. It took me forever to figure it out since there's no clear directions on how to register it, but anyways it still won't let me play because it says it's not registered. I registered and linked my account to it, so I don't know how to fix it. I'd appreciate any and all answers!

There is a code that u should have entered on ur PS3 as well. It shouldve been on the back of the instruction booklet. Once u enter that code under "Redeem Codes" u then have to go in the game and it will ask u if ur wanting to register this game.
Another possibility is that the servers are at their max right now so the information just wasnt able to go through. They've already halted all digital sales of the game just bc so many people are playing it.
If either of those dont work then I would try contacting sony. this is an mmo and its a standard thing to happen during the first week of launch but its worth it once u get in and u get to play it
