When weighing food do you...?

weigh the pasta before or after cooking? I stopped my Spaghetti Pizza Pie to ask this. Thank you so much.

I only weigh the ingredients to baking that I brought home from owning a bakery! I don't bother with weighing anything else. I take a handful of something like spaghetti and judge if it is enough for what I want and toss it in the pot.

Unless the recipe tells you otherwise, weight the pasta before cooking.

Always before - imagine weighing it after you cooked it and then found you're way over or (worse) way short... Your recipe would be all over the place and your timings thrown completely out.
