Girl problem, First day of school & Period ( Girls only please )?
Tomorrow I start the seventh grade, and its a new month. New months brings a period of course. My period usually comes later in the month, but I don't really want to take the chance of getting it and not being prepared. I am taking a pad tomorrow and wearing it just in case. I am wearing light blue shorts, and I already know what I am going to wear, because we don't have uniforms. I am just kinda scared that I am going to get it earlier then normal and it will show. I am for sure wearing the blue shorts because I need more and those are the only new ones I have right now, and its going to be like 85 degrees tomorrow. So how can I make sure the blood does not leak and show on back of my shorts if it does start

I had the same issue on my first day of eighth grade, except I actually knew for a fact I had my period, and it was HEAVY. On the first day your period won't really be heavy at all. The first day and last day are the lightest days. And if you just want to make it extra sure that you don't leak, then bring black pants instead of blue shorts because nothing will show. Hope I helped :)

You should just wear a pad anyway, there's no harm in that. Quite a lot of girls start being prepared a couple of days early just in case. And you should bring an extra one in your bag too
Good luck with seventh grade btw :)
