Is it true that if all of your numbers match the winning number on a cash for life then that counts as winning?

Once I turned in a lottery ticket and all the numbers matched the winning one except one. The man at the store told me if i had the last number matching then i would win Cash For Life. I was wondering if that is true. Also if it is true do money bags count as matching numbers. Please help, thanks

That would depend on the rules for the game. You don't even mention what state you are in, every state's rules are different.

There are many countries and states and provinces that have "win for life" or "cash for life" games. Each one of those games has its own set of rules.

These tickets are already the worst bet on the planet. No other standard form of gambling comes even close to being as bad a bet as the lottery. The lottery is a TAX on the poor and on the ignorant.

Guess what? It's all the worse still if you can't follow the directions printed on the ticket. If the guy at the store told you that it's a losing ticket, then it's probably a losing ticket. If you think he might be lying, then bring it to another store to be sure.
