    People are dying and the world stands by and watches.

    The weapons dealers are doing a good business selling to both sides.

    Neighbouring countries are being inundated with people fleeing the fighting.

    Local bullies vying for power and control. The current bully in office does not want to be replaced by a new bully. Simple. Just follow the money.
