The figure shows cubes making up a larger cube?

If the figure above is a rectangular solid composed of cubes, each with edge of length 4 centimeters, and there are 5 of the 4cm^ᶟ per edge of a larger cube, what is the volume of the rectangular solid in cubic centimeters?

I think the answer is 6400 but I can't get it again, How do you do this calculation?

If there are five cubes on an edge and each has an edge of 4 cm, then the edge of the larger cube is 20cm and the volume of the cube is 20^3 = 8000 cm^3
