I really like this girl, and she knows that I like her, but she called me her "besties friend ever", ouch, right? Anyways, how do I get around this and ask her to homecoming, and how should I ask her to homecoming?
P.S. We are really good friends, but not besties

You could ask her to homecoming as friends but as far as a relationship or dates....your royaly screwed. Believe me been there.
Dont know if your a hockey fan but to put it in those terms. You just shot the puck at the net and instead of scoring (landing the girl) you hit the post (the friend zone) the only thing thats going to pop up on that stat sheet is a scoring chance (taking her to homecoming as a friend) but it will never be more than that...sorry man just how it is.

Just ask her. Really, what do you have to lose? If she says no, it could potentially ruin your friendship, but that's honestly the only way out. Or you could say your going to kill her whole family if she doesn't go out with you. It's really up to you.
