Yes, prop hunt is a mode for Garrys mod. But you must buy it, not just download a cracked version. Why? Because garry's mod has a site called garrysmod.org which has every addon in it ever made. But to download any, you need to have bought garry's mod from steam. If you get a cracked version, you can't download any addons from it. So yes, you have to buy Garry's Mod to play prop hunt online.

Yes. Garry's Mod has a ton of custom, user created game types, one of which is prop hunt.
