He was the ROY by default for a while there a couple of months ago. His stats lately have looked pretty ordinary. Do you still consider him a legitimate ROY contender?

Wil likes Wil, That we know. It would probably be better for the Rays if he didn't win. There is nothing wrong with confidence, but it might make Wil work a little harder to attain some of his goals. If he win ROY, his helmet may no longer fit.

Honestly I think he was a little full of himself after the great start. He was getting a bit cocky with his home runs, just standing at home plate and admiring his work. He is going to be a solid major leaguer but he is not going win any batting titles, at least not for awhile. Hot and cold, it part of a players season. He has a month to regain his stride and be back in the ROY running.

He simply isn't a .330 hiiter, he's regressing to what he should be. Still a strong candidate, and there's a month left. 2-4 with 2 doubles last night.
