Question on UK broadband deals and TV license?

1. Is talktalk a reliable provider? Isn't line rental a bit steep (3.75+15.4)*12 = 230 is there a better deal?

2. If I go for the "plus TV" package is there any chance it'll also cover the cost of a TV licence or am I meant to pay separately for that?

Their websites are just a mess of flashing prices and asterisks, I'm sure a neutral person will do a more reliable job at clarifying these things for me.

You pay separate for a tv license.

Talk Talk from experience my brother has shared is not reliable.

Most providers will charge you the £15 line fee per month.

1 - Not reliable, bad service.

2 - A TV license has nothing to do with broadband or TV packages. You can have freeview and still need a TV license. A TV license allows you to view in Colour ;-)
