Full screen when opening IE 8.?

My Windows 7 no longer opens a page full screen.. Is there any setting for fixing this? I cannot find anything obvious anywhere in settings......(Always have to hit the full screen box in upper right of browser).....Grrr...

    Try opening the window, then maximizing it, then closing it immediately.
