To be honest, i don't understand what you are doing either. To report abuse click the Report Abuse link to the right of the person's answer.
"Report abuse on Yahoo! Answers"

If you want to contact Yahoo directly to report this user you will need to send Yahoo Answers Team a link to their Profile page. Click on their username or avatar to go to their Y!A profile page. Now highlight the web address in the search bar at the top of the page, right click on your mouse and select Copy. Later, you can Paste this into an email or save this in a text document or Notepad to be sent in an email later.
It is also great if you can compile a list of links to questions in which they posted an answer that contained foul language. Follow the same directions as when you saved their profile link. Send all this in an email to: y_answrs_team@yahoo.com

It sounds as if you're trying to report by some non-standard route.
Report via the Report Abuse flag to the right of the user's question or answer.
If nothing's happened ... well, you don't have enough reporting trust. Try participating constructively outside garbage Politics Q&As, and you might get some.

so you have an avatar of R. Lee Ermy who portrayed one of the most foul mouthed drill Sergeants ever portrayed in a movie (Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in full metal Jacket) and you are concerned about foul language, ok. I don't know if Yahoo is overly concerned about it themselves. they have software in place to **** some of it, but there are ways around that $hit if need be for those of us who express ourselves through profanity.
