what's worst a mental institution or jail if you had to work in one?

They are practically the same thing. If you're not rich, you don't have a lot of options for mental health care. There's just no room in state hospitals and no funding. That's why most seriously mentally ill people end up in ....jail!

Mental institution. In prison you don't feel so bad about the people there.

hmmm I went on a tour in a mental hos in my town once and they said sometimes it can get a little crazy in there but I would think jail is wayyy worse

Jail. I'd rather be around thugs in bars that at least have functioning personalities than working with people who are loony.

Jail...you have to constantly watch your back, and also control and detain possibly violent inmates. plus you have to break up fights. or deal with inmates who have made weapons from ordinary objects. its a job for people who aren't afraid to die imo.

Are you kidding? It would be SUCH fun to work among the crazies.
