Any Good fights in 2014? Or a poor year for boxing?
Everyone is talking about Haye vs Fury, Pacquiao vs Rios and of course Mayweather vs Alvarez. But after these bouts what good matchups have we got to look forward to, and what big fight could happen in 2014. There seems to be very little big fight action brewing for next year. Please someone tell me I'm wrong. Thanks

It will largely depend on the outcomes of the important bouts we are having heading to the end of this current year like as you mentioned the Haye-Fury, Pacquiao-Rios, Mayweather-Alvarez and of course, I hasten to all Matthyse-Garcia, JMM-Bradley, Golovkin-Stevens, Broner-Maidana, the return to action of Sergio Martinez and Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr., Guillermo Rigondeux, Nonito Donaire,Andre Ward and the next bouts of Sergie Kovalev, Carl Froch, Bernard Hopkins, Adonis Stevenson, Deontay Wilder, Abner Mares and Mikey Garcia. Most of these fighters have opportunities for continuous domination, resurgence or making a grand breakout in 2014. It's too early to make predictions with the still fluid situation. Ask this question again by the end of this year and maybe we can give a better, educated guess. Thanks for bringing this up, anyway.

Bro my prediction for 2014 is that Rigondeaux will see out the rest of his contract on HBO and then jump to Showtime and fight Santa Cruz and Abner Mares.
Marquez Pacquiao 5 will also happen I think and hopefully the Pacquiao-Bradley rematch.
Andre Ward- Froch 2 may happen as might Govovkin vs Martinez. If people start stepping up and facing Golovkin we could see many great fights involving him. Deontay Wilder vs Wladimir Klitscho could also happen in the heavy weights and Sergey Kovalev vs Adonis Stevenson/Cloud winner will most likely go down too. BOXING IS BACK BABY!! 2014 will be big man trust me.
