When soldering a breadboard, do you have to solder every pin?

Soldering a breadboard for a project. Will the breadboard work fine if I just solder say 2 out of 3 pins on some of the parts? They can be extremely difficult to not accidentally solder together so I was wondering if it would still work if I did it that way.

Soldering or not is a choice, depending on the circuit and as long as they work and not affecting other electronic component and wiring. Sometimes, soldering is used to secure component better to platform.
