How do I install an antivirus on a laptop without internet access? 10 points!!?

If you buy an antivirus product in the shop it's on CD or USB-Drive. This would allow you to install w/o internet access. Problem is that antivirus programs need daily updates. This is something you can not easily do w/o internet access. My normal method of installing a new computer is to install only the driver for the screen and networking with the help of an USB drive from another computer. Once up on the network I take the other drivers from the website of the computer manufacturer. The antivirus program comes straight after that. The website of Lenevo / IBM can be reached to install the drivers w/o you running too much risk getting infected. (That is if you're not going to these website trough google :-))

Just go to the manufacturer's web site for the drivers. Then download the anti-virus afterwards.

You download them (and the free antivirus program - like AVG) onto a usb thumbdrive using another computer, take thumbdrive to computer in need and....you get the idea.

You can buy to a shop or go to this site. www.filehippo.com you can download lots of av programs there. I know a lot of av programs from sites are online installer so you need an offline installer so you can dl an offline installer from that site..

Buy anti-virus at a store and pop the disk in to the cd drive.
