No you can't... Sony the manufacture will add apps from time to time as they develope contracts with various companies but you as an individual cannot ad an app...you could contact Sony and let them know what you want if enough people had the same request then it might happen...

You don't. It is not practical as evidenced by all the other answers. The only way to do it with practicality is to buy a surround preamp / processor and powered speakers but such will cost far more than a surround receiver. Unless you have some kind of receiver - phobia this is not practical. You can not just plug speakers into a blu ray or DVD player, there is no magical adapter - unless you consider a receiver an adapter. Now choose a best answer.

Not usually, The apps that come on a bluray player are not usually able to be deleted or added to.

Morgan---thanks for nothing. If you have an answer, please state it rather than sending us off to more bogus web sites for the answer. Trust me, we haver all searched for our answers on the web BEFORE asking on Yahoo. Your answer is useless.
