My dance teacher has a favorite?
My ballet teacher has a favorite and it shows. She will take extra time to sterch her and pushes her a lot and also looks at her a lot during class and correct her most of time.I think she really does not notice me or just given up on me and it hurts. When we do tombe para bure (srry can't spell) into a pirouette she never looks at me or give me a give correction. When I raise my hand ready to ask a question she wonders off as if she never saw me.I don't know what I'm doing wrong I apply my corrections immediately I'm quiet follow all rules and I dance good.I could go on with examples but most of you won't read it.Anyaays why is like this and what can I do to get her attention because I Definitley want to become a better dancer!

Hi! First, I think its fabulous that you want to improve! Sadly, most teachers have favorites and its very hard to change that (trust me, I was in your shoes). The best thing for you to apply everything, practice, stretch, and dance from your soul. One of these days she'll notice, don't worry! 2 years ago I was in the lowest level I could possibly be in, but I worked super hard and once my instructors saw that in me, they realized I was a fairly good dancer! Now I'm on my studio's company, and could possibly be a "favorite", all because I worked to my max and it showed! Best of luck to you! And don't worry, your teachers will realize your talents soon enough!!!! Hope this helps!
