Why did she leave me?
I'd been with this girl for a few months. Everything was perfect. It was a little bit of a long distance thing but I always made the effort to see her everyday. I'm 17 and she's 16. For the past week or so she'd been distant.. she wouldn't reply to my texts until like the next day, and then she'd make up some excuse for it. I've done nothing but treat her good, but not like a lap dog. When we're together, we just connect. She used to talk about me all the time with her friends, in the nicest way possible. A few weeks ago we dropped the 'l' word... but then today, just a few hours ago, she just says she doesn't want a relationship. Apparently she can't make me happy or something, but I've explained to her that she does make me happy. I'm happy just knowing that I get to see her. I don't know what I've done or why, and she wont give me any more detail as to the fact that she can't make me happy. But she does. I don't get it. What can I do to convince her that she does make me happy? I've fallen for her, I really have, and I thought she had done the same. She's well worth my time to wait for.. can someone help me? How can I convince her? I need her :/

She was over-thinking at some point and that's when she started to become distant..
She somehow got to the conclusion that she either isn't good enough for you or that she will not be able to make you happy in the long run.
Obviously you think differently and that's wat lead to confusion.
Just make her feel that she is the only one for you.
Think of something you always did together and how it made you feel.
Explain to her how she makes you happy.
Tell her why you feel the way you do.
Tell her that she is worth it.

I really hate to say this, but I don't think it's because she thinks she can't make you happy.
Maybe something has come up in her life?
You know her better than anyone on here, but I don't think it's really YOU.
Give her a little bit of time, if she doesn't say anything about it, ask her again.

I would just tell her that the reason she gave you makes no sense at all and you need for her to really help you understand why she broke it off. Maybe if she gives you the real reason for breaking up it will help you to move on.

honestly , alot of times my friends tried to stay distant from their boyfriend is because they cheated. now I don't know this girl , so i don't know if she would or not. but it could also be that she's still young and wants to be single or have different relationships.

Shes obviously letting you down softly since she knows you like her alot. Dont believe anything she says, she may have just lost feelings for you and you need to move on.

she tried to let you down easy with the classic break-up speech, "it's not you. it's me." face it. she's just not that into you but you're a nice guy so she wants to make the break easy for both of you.
